Studied: BTEC Level 3 Floristry
Now owns her own floristry business, Nadia Di Tullio Flowers
Operating from a workshop at her home in Ashbourne, Nadia has now provided her exclusive design service for over 200 weddings. She also runs activities such as Christmas workshops, teaching fellow floristry enthusiasts how to make festive wreaths and displays. She has recently joined forces with her friend, former fashion buyer Penny Mitchell, to set up a bridal and occasion accessories range called Florrie & Eve.
Nadia had already studied Fine Art at the College. Although she subsequently went on to work as a fitness instructor, personal trainer and health club manager, she always knew that she would eventually pursue a direction in which she could make the most of her creative flair.
“When I completed my Fine Art course, I was at that stage of my life when I’d had enough of learning, but when I returned to study Floristry at Broomfield Hall over ten years later, I looked at education in a completely different light.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the learning process, gaining insights from professional tutors who really knew what they were doing and being part of a varied group of learners who all contributed different skills, knowledge and perspectives. It was a very positive experience.”
