Now, more than ever, there’s a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity. There’s a strong call to #PressforProgress motivating and uniting friends, colleagues and whole communities to think, act and be gender inclusive.
As part of International Women’s Day (March 8th) Derby College are hosting a “Women in STEM” event to promote the industries of:
- Construction / Professional Construction
- Science
- Engineering / Rail
- IT / Technology
As part of the event we would like you to deliver a short presentation to our students about your career path into the industry you are in and your job role.
Please let Hassan Mazhar know if you are interested in attending / happy to present. The event will run from 12pm – 3pm on Thursday 8th March at our Roundhouse Campus (DE24 8JE), a light lunch will be provided.
Also please feel to invite other females from your company along to the event.
